Rick Owens: Celebrating Two Decades of dark raw aesthetics. Rick Owens, hailed as the "Master of Elements," has reshaped fashion with his iconic play on proportion and volume. In honor of his 20-year legacy,  The World of Rick Owens  concept store launched at Selfridges, London, in 2014, featuring a curated selection of his favorite designs. Four prominent window displays, inspired by Oscar Wilde’s  Salomé , showcased Owens’ gender-defying, avant-garde aesthetics while paying tribute to his exclusive 20-piece capsule collection for Selfridges. A Multi-Creative Force Post-marriage to Michèle Lamy in 2006, Owens expanded his artistry into brutalist furniture design, drawing inspiration from WWII bunkers, Egyptian tombs, and Art Deco leather bars. This creative vision was monumentalized on September 7, 2014, with a towering 25-foot sculpture of Owens erected over Selfridges' entrance.
